EDII to conduct 6 days online training programme for CBSE teachers on entrepreneurship teaching

 

Ahmedabad, August 13, 2021: Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad in association with CBSE will be conducting a six-day online training program for teachers of CBSE affiliated schools on entrepreneurship teaching. The teachers will be trained on the various aspects of Entrepreneurship Idea Generation, Business Opportunity Identification, Feasibility Studies, Business Plan Preparation, Project Planning & Development. They would also be guided on mentoring students about entrepreneurship as a career. The first batch of the programme, which shall be attended by 1000 school teachers, will commence from August 16, 2021 and continue till August 21, 2021. Three more batches of 1000 teachers each shall subsequently be imparted training on teaching Entrepreneurship.

 

After the completion of the programme, an online test will be conducted and based on that participants will be awarded a certificate of successfully completing the ‘Training on Entrepreneurship Teaching.’ Interested participants can register by writing to Department of Skill Education, CBSE at skedu_ap1@cbseshiksha.in  and/or Dr. Lalit Sharma, Faculty-EDII at lalit@ediindia.org.

 

Entrepreneurship plays an important role in the economic growth and development of the country. It has emerged as a significant career option for the students in the present scenario. Thus, there is a need to sensitize the students so that they learn and understand the basic ideas and concepts of Entrepreneurship and adopt this discipline as a career. In this regard, CBSE and Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) have joined hands to promote entrepreneurship training. The online training programme for teachers is a part of their collaboration.
