For the first time, a green corridor has been created between private Institution Apollomedics Super Specialty Hospitals and government institution SGPGI in Lucknow where a 21-year-old Brain dead’s Patient’s kidney will be sent to SGPGI from Lucknow's Apollomedics Hospitals.

A green corridor has been built between Lucknow's two medical institutes SGPGI and Apollomedics Hospitals on Wednesday with a purppose to save the life of the patient admitted at SGPGI by kidney transplant.




In the afternoon, an ambulance will leave for SGPGI carrying the kidney of a 21-year-old brain-dead patient from the private medical institute Apollomedics Hospitals.After reaching the organ at SGPGI, the doctors there will transplant the kidney in the body of a 35-year-old woman.




The doctors of PGI came to know about the brain-dead young man which happened on May 10. Then Medical experts from SGPGI came to Apollomedics for safe and timely transportation of the organ.
