Enforcement Directorate raids at Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee's home. Friday morning, eight ED officials entered Partha Chatterjee 's residence. The Enforcement Directorate is questioning West Bengal minister and TMC leader Partha Chatterjee in connection with its probe into the School Service Commission (SSC) recruitment scam case.

Chatterjee has appeared twice before the CBI for questioning first on May 18, and again on May 25.The Calcutta High Court had ordered a CBI investigation into the recruitment process of teachers in state-aided schools after committee members overseeing the process from January 2019 made contradictory submissions before the court.

ED launched an investigation into alleged money laundering in the recruitment of teachers and non-teaching staff for state-aided schools. Two FIRs have been lodged by the federal probe agency. According to sources, ED has raided 13 places together on this day.

ED officials have also launched a raid on MoS education Paresh Adhikari's residence in Cooch Behar district.
