SIR Enumeration Form Now Available Online from Today—Here’s How to Fill It
The Election Commission has announced that from Thursday, citizens can access the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Enumeration Form online. This initiative aims to assist voters—especially those unable to collect the form physically from Booth Level Officers (BLOs)—in updating their voter details digitally.
Where to Find the Form
- Official Website: https://ceowestbengal.wb.gov.in
- Mobile App: ECI-Net (available for download)
Who Can Fill the Form Online?
- Voters who are unable to collect the form from BLOs in person
- Citizens working or residing outside their registered constituency
- Anyone preferring the convenience of digital submission
How to Fill the Form Online
- Download the Form from the CEO West Bengal website or ECI-Net app
- Fill in the Details just as you would in the physical form
- Upload the Completed Form following the instructions provided on the portal
A senior official from the Commission stated, “Once the forms are available online, voters who cannot reach BLOs can fill and submit them digitally. The process mirrors the offline method and includes a guided upload system.”
Statewide Progress So Far
- Over 80,000 BLOs have been deployed across West Bengal
- BLOs are distributing forms door-to-door and collecting voter data
- As of Wednesday 8 PM, more than 1.1 crore forms have been distributed
- Political parties have appointed BLO Agents (BLAs) to assist and monitor the process
Technical Glitch Resolved
Although the online form was scheduled to launch on Tuesday, a technical issue delayed its rollout. The Commission confirmed that the issue has been resolved and the form will be live from Thursday morning.
With the SIR Enumeration Form now available online, voters across West Bengal can conveniently update their electoral details. Whether you're working outside your constituency or prefer digital access, this initiative ensures inclusivity and ease.
