Sriram Transport Finance Company (STFC) Limited, one of the largest non-banking financial institutions in India, offers scholarships called "STFC India Meritorious Scholarship Program" to provide financial assistance for the education of the children or drivers of financially backward commercial transport companies.

Eligibility to apply for secondary side
1) Must pass 10th class with 80 percent.
2) Must be admitted to any recognized ITI / Polytechnic / Diploma course in India after secondary pass.
3) The maximum limit of annual family income is four lakh rupees.
4) The applicant must be the driver of a commercial transport company or the child of the owner.
Eligibility to apply for higher secondary education
1) The applicant must be a student of three / four year undergraduate or engineering course from any recognized institution in India.
2) Must pass 10th and 12th class with 80 percent marks.
3) The maximum limit of annual family income is four lakh rupees.
4) The applicant must be the driver of a commercial transport company or the child of the owner.
Scholarship amount:
1) 15,000 rupees (fifteen thousand rupees) per annum for secondary pass for a maximum of three years.
2) Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 per annum for higher secondary passes for a maximum of four years.
Required documents:
1) Passport size photo,
2) Identity card with photo,
3) Aadhaar card,
4) Proof of age,
5) Marksheet of Secondary and Higher Secondary (Self-certified)
6) Parent's commercial transport driving license,
7) Certificate of Family Income (ITR Form-16 / Evidence provided by a government recognized official)
6) Certificate of admission in the institution of study in the academic year 2020-2021.
